The starting point
The trading firm had a marketing team and founders with a clear voice. The problem sat in the middle. Management did not want to write blog posts or social campaigns. Marketing could not hit the quality leadership would approve.
The problem
- Stuck approvals. Copy went up and down. Nobody was happy.
- The voice lived in the founders’ heads. Podcasts, Slack, internal notes. Not in the marketing brief.
- Too little content. By the time something was signed off, the campaign should already have been out.
The solution: an agent in the founders’ voice
We built a custom GPT trained on internal data. Podcast transcripts, Slack, material the firm already had. The agent picked up management’s tone of voice from that.
How it works:
- Context from the firm, not the internet. The agent reads what the founders actually said and wrote.
- A draft in their voice. Marketing gets text that is hard to tell apart from what leadership would write.
- A person signs off the result. Not every word. The round shortens because the starting quality already fits.
What changed
- Content goes out. The marketing team produces far more copy and campaigns, and faster.
- Less friction. Management stops rewriting every paragraph.
- The voice stays in the firm. When a copywriter leaves, the agent stays. The context is in the system, not in one head.
What transfers to your company
- Bad output is bad context. If the agent writes off-voice, podcasts, Slack or the handbook are missing. It is not “a better model”.
- Do not train on the internet. Your voice is in what you have already said. That is what the agent needs.
- Approve the result, not every draft. If the first pass sounds like you, the round shortens on its own.
